We're Hiring - Nurse Coordinator

Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Coordinator to join our Ageing and Disability Services team in Gloucester, NSW! 

  

About the Role

As the Nurse Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, high-quality, and client-focused clinical care across BWNG’s Ageing and Disability services. You will:

  • Oversee clinical governance and support best practice in nursing care.
  • Provide direct nursing services to clients where required.
  • Manage rostering for health staff and clients of BWNG
  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop individualised care plans.
  • Monitor, review, and update care plans to ensure they reflect changing needs and ensure services align with Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and education to staff

What You’ll Need:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong skills in care planning, assessment, and clinical governance.
  • The ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, clients, and families.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening      (or willingness to obtain)
  • A National Criminal History Check (conducted in-house as part of the induction process)

Food Collection Volunteer

Volunteer with us

Are you a community-minded person with your own transport, and a spare hour each day, Monday to Friday? 

We are seeking a volunteer to collect donated food items from local businesses each workday, and deliver them to the Community Pantry at BWNG If you haven’t volunteered before, this is a great way to dip your toe into the rewarding experience of volunteering.  

It is also a great opportunity for anyone seeking voluntary work to meet Centrelink's mutual obligation requirements. 

Please note, this role is subject to a Police Check and Working With Children Check.
