BWNG provides a range of in-home and community care services if you are:
Our Health Transport Service is supported by Hunter New England Area Health, and is designed to help you attend medical out of area specialist's appointments .
BWNG coordinates a team of drivers who will collect you from your home in their vehicle, drive you to your appointment, and take you home again.
Cancer treatment often requires repeat visits over an extended period of time to facilities which may be far from home.
For example, treatment such as radiotherapy can require daily attendance for up to six weeks.
A partnership between Cancer Council NSW and BWNG under the Transport to Treatment program provides assistance for people affected by cancer to reach out of area treatment.
Community-based transport is provided through to people over 65 who live locally, and have been approved to receive aged care services under CHSP or a HCP.
Designed to support everyday journeys, our Community Based Transport can help with errands, or reach destinations in the community in which you live such as the post office, bank or chemist.
